We were honoured by a visit from the Mayor of Lincoln this week. She came to celebrate a year of her mayorship. She said we could all have a week off but made it half term week. We think she was joking!
This week we have been learning about newspapers in literacy. We learnt how to write a catchy headline using alliteration, word play and rhyme. We have been writing using the 5 w's - who, what , where, why and when.
We used these skills to write about our visit to the Collection in a newspaper report.
