We went to visit our allotment for the first time today. It took about 30 minutes to get there, but we all thought it was worth it! We were amazed at all the different plots and things people were growing. It is very exciting to see the possibilities for our plot!
Today we were very busy planting lettuce, strawberries, chives, leeks, mint and marrows. They have grown from seed in our classroom and it is exciting to think they will now grow much bigger.
Thomas had the fantastic idea of measuring the plants every week when we go, to see how they have changed. Mckenzie is excited about bringing the rainfall monitors we made. Chloe asked if we could make some signs, so people know what each plant is.
Fantastic work team 4NN. We can't wait till next Thursday when we go again!
