Today we boarded the plane and went on an amazing flight to Antarctica! The captain told us it would be an 8 hour flight, but luckily the weather was clear. When we arrived we had to hike for 5 miles through the frozen landscape but luckily upon arrival at the research station, a roaring fire was waiting with hot chocolate and marshmallows to warm us up!
