We have been sharing our books and writing book reviews about them. Here are our favourites:
My book - by Kira
My book has poems, story's and nursery rhymes. My book is called the three kittens. This is the best part.
His mother we sadly fear we have lost our mittens, lost your mittens you naughty kittens than you shall have no pie, meow meow meow mother, we have found our mittens may we have some pie, found your mittens you silly kittens than yes you may have some pie purr purr purr.
Tyler's book review- Horrid Henry's Double Dare
My book is full of jokes and dares that is all there is. This is my favourite joke, what did the traffic lights say to the car? Don't look at me, I'm changing! Hahahaha. This is my favourite dare, dare a girl to smell the feet of everyone in the room and put them in order from best to worse!
Jack - James and the giant peach written by Roald Dahl
James's aunts, spiker and sponge, are always calling him names. They beat him and starve him and make his life a misery. If only his parents hadn't been eaten by an angry escaped rhinoceros, he wouldn't be in this mess. But one day he meets a mysterious man who gives him a bag of magic crocodile tongues and so begins the adventure of his dreams.
My favourite part is the poem of the aunt's. It is very funny.
Lena- Queenie by Jaqueline Wilson.
This book is about a girl called Elsie and her grandma but suddenly Elsie's grandma gets very ill Elsie is very sad and she can't live without her. Elsie is alone when her mum comes Elsie has a very hard life without her grandma. Elsie's mum is very mean just because she's a famous T.V star. I like it because there is a lot of adjectives and adverbs and it's very interesting
My favourite part is:
The first part of chapter 3 because it's all about Elsie and her grandma.
Kasey -drew. Goosebumps The blob that ate everyone
This book is about a boy and his friends who discover that people go missing and they think it might be an Alien invasion, then they think it might be an bogie invasion, but it was an pink blob That ate everyone!

This book is about a girl called Poppy love. Poppy loved to dance she also has a partner called Zack. She did this kind of dancing salsa ,ballet,Irish and ball dancing. She practice's every day from 6.00am to 8.30pm.
My favourite part:
Was when she ripped open her plain dress to a dress that shined like sapphires on a diamond ring.
Martyns book review
Nature's children
My book is about panders and lions and lots of baby lions and baby panders. I like this
Book because it is about lions and I like lions.
Alisha H- Queenie- written by Jaqueline Wilson- illustrated by Nick
This book is about a young girl called Elsie Kettle who lived with her Nan, Vi Kettle.
Her mother, Mrs Kettle, works at Butlins as a show girl, and came very rarely.
Elsies Nan becomes ill with TB, but a few weeks later, Elsie becomes ill with TB in the knee. She ended up in Miltree Orthopaedic Hospital at the time of the Queens corenation. Elsie finds out that Queenie, the majestic hospital cat and the dear Nurse Gabrial actually comforted her by telling magical stories to the rest of the ward.
My favourite part is when Martin and Gillian say:
"And frilly knickers to match," Martin sniggered.
"Shut up, Martin. Don't spoil it. Go on, Elsie," said Gillian
Jasmine's review on private peaceful
I love the story but it is quite moving at the end. It's about two soldiers who are brothers and have the same name. It's by Michael Morpurgo that's why it's so good. This is a paragraph of the blurb.
As young as Thomas Peaceful looks back at his childhood from the battlefields of the first world war,his memories are full of family life deep in the co.
Mckenzies review about Return Ribblestrop
I like the first page when a boy comes home from school and went outside and sat on the curb sadly. The book is illustrated by Roald Dahl.
