We had an 'UP' challenge to see who could make a gravity defying house rise with the aid of helium balloons. Thomas and Tia won the challenge, as there house only needed 6 balloons to lift it! Well done guys.
Some people though about 'The lion king' and the circle of life. They thought about the food chains and webs in the African Savannah. They made some fantastic games to help us learn about it.
Our last group were investigating jet propulsion. We were trying to use balloons to propel our paper panes like in Disney's 'Planes. After a few false starts we got a few flying!
Thank you to all our visitors. It's always lovely to see you working with the children and nice to hear them talk to you about what they are doing.

That looks like such a fun way to learn about science. Thank you for sharing the pictures!
