Back from 3 day Rand Farm residential

We had a fantastic time, but are very tired! Keep checking back over the next few days for our reports about what we saw and learnt.

Here are some of the photos we took!

  2. Hi 4NN, We think your blog is really cool. The photos are interesting. How long have you been blogging? In New Zealand we don't have snakes. Not even in our zoos. We wonder if it was poisonous? What did it feel like to touch? What was your favourite animal on the trip? What were you eating in the second photo? We are looking forward to blogging with you.

    1. Hi koru9!

We've been blogging since September 2012 and we are enjoying blogging to other people. The snake we held was not poisonous, it was a boa constricter and wraps around its prey.
"It felt really scaly, because I had short sleeves on and it felt tight on my arm." Taylor,.
"It felt strange, like rubber on a tyre" Chloe
"It felt warm, rough like a rock." Thomas

My favourite animal was the white wolves, Kira
My favourite was the baby fox, Kasey ,
The snowy owls were my favourite! Kirsten
My favourite animal was the calves, Jamie
My favourite was the baby pigs, because I fed them and mucked them out, Ali.

In the second photo, we were making chocolate chip cookies with flour from the windmill.
